Make the chat follow your real opening times
Office hours tell Vera.Support when you are open. Once the timetable is set, the offline message, the chat widget and the chatbot can all work to the same schedule.
You need this as soon as you stop staffing the chat around the clock. It is for anyone who wants visitors to see the right thing when nobody is at the desk.
Step by step
Set your timezone first
Office hours are stored in UTC, so your timezone decides what the entries actually mean. Set it at Settings > Miscellaneous > Timezone before you touch the timetable.
Open the timetable
Go to Settings > Miscellaneous > Office hours. You get one block per day of the week.
Enter start and end times
Put the start and the end in the first two fields of the day, for example 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Leave the second pair of fields empty.
Mark days you are shut as closed
Never leave a value empty. If you do not open on a day, set that day to closed. A whole closed day must be closed.
Add booking availability
The AI calendar integration works from its own timetable. Set when people can book at Settings > Miscellaneous > Scheduled Office Hours.

Good to know
Times are UTC
Every time you type into the timetable is UTC. Settings > Miscellaneous > Timezone is what makes those entries land on your real working day, so check it before you blame the hours.
Empty fields cause trouble
Never leave a value empty in the timetable. A day you do not work must be set to closed rather than left blank.
The second pair of fields stays empty
A single opening block only uses the first two fields of the day. Leave the second pair alone.
Visitors see their own format
The timetable's date and time format matches the visitor's browser language automatically. You do not need a separate version per country.
Three things key off this timetable
Office hours drive the offline message, they can hide or disable the chat outside your hours, and they control chatbot scheduling. You can disable the chatbot during office hours, or have it run only outside them.
Booking hours are separate
Scheduled Office Hours is its own setting. Changing your office hours does not change your booking availability.
