Keep the panel one tap away on your phone
The panel is a progressive web app, so your browser can install it like a real app. You get an icon on your home screen or desktop, and on iPhone it is what makes push notifications possible.
This is for you if you answer customers away from your desk, or you want the panel to open on its own rather than as one more browser tab. The steps take a few seconds and differ slightly per device.
Step by step
Open the panel in your browser
Go to cloud.vera.support and sign in. The install option only appears once the panel is open in front of you.
Install on a desktop using Chrome
With the panel open, click the + icon in the address bar. The panel then opens as its own app window.
Install on Android or Windows using Chrome
Open the panel, go to the browser settings menu, choose Add to Home screen, then confirm with Add.
Install on iPhone or Mac using Safari
Open the panel, tap Share, choose Add to Home Screen, then confirm with Add.
Check the iPhone requirement before relying on push
Push notifications on iPhone need iOS 16.4 or later and the panel installed as an app. Install it first, then check that your iOS version is current.

No iPhone push without the install
On iPhone, push notifications require iOS 16.4 or later and the installed app. A browser tab on its own will not receive them.
You install it from the browser, not an app store
There is nothing to download and search for. The installed app is the same panel at cloud.vera.support, wrapped in its own window.
The browser decides the steps
Chrome offers the + icon in the address bar or Add to Home screen in its settings menu. Safari puts it behind Share > Add to Home Screen.
Windows Chrome gives you two routes
On a Windows desktop you can either click the + icon in the address bar or use Add to Home screen from the browser settings menu. Both produce the same app.
